Maralyn Streeter

Maralyn's interest in the 'Media' has been with her since childhood, when she was rarely 'off the broads'.

Throughout her school days she wrote and produced plays, concerts and musical shows, which she also performed in. She studied at L.A.M.D.A from 1969-1974 qualifying as a speech and drama teacher. She then successfully ran several drama schools for children to the age of 18 across Sussex.

Singing is another of her passions and she has had voice training for many years. Her first group 'Rainbow' was formed in 1972 and after that she sang in many groups and bands with semi and professional artists.

Her radio days began in hospital radio some 10 years ago where she presented a weekly show. She has done RSL'S in Haywards Heath and Worthing, being one of the presenters with the Worthing Radio mob, in Nov '99.

Maralyn currently presents the 'Love Eleven' for Sovereign Radio in Hailsham, which is a seven night a week show. She is also currently undergoing training with the BBC world Service.

Her involvement with WBC comes under the umbrella of C.A.C officially the title means Community Awareness Co-ordinator, but many times has been shorten to 'Chief Arse Cicker'. (Well some-ones got to do it) !!
