Paddy Rea

Paddy, who has lived in Sussex all his life, is married with 4 children and 2 grand children. He was once a professional footballer with Brighton & Hove Albion and Gravesend And Northfleet F.C but has sinced served, for 31 years, with first the Brighton and then the Sussex Police. He is currently the Sussex Police Press Officer.

Paddy was a former Council member of the Sussex County Football Assoc, and the Sussex County Football League. During this time Paddy formed very strong links with the Worthing Clubs, which has been of invaluable help when organizing the charity football matches, Paddy is famous for. These have raised money for Gifford House in Worthing, and the Ford Open Prison Social Club.

Paddy is currently involved in helping with fund raising and press liaison for a little girl suffering from a rare syndrome.

Paddy has had a long standing passion for radio and apart from presenting a weekly show on Hospital Radio has, to date, been involved with Christmas F.M, Festival F.M .Adur Festival F.M , Mid Downs Radio and Worthing Radio, all of which have enjoyed his expertise in production and presenting.

Paddy is one of the founder members of WBC.
